The ATOM counter is to show that you are using the program to carry out your research; it is not just a record of all the clicks you make or documents that you may open. It will deduct points if you are not using it regularly or not using it to support your school work.

• The ATOM counter has been made so that you need to use Autology properly to gain points. This is what you need to remember to win points.

• At the first day of each month the counter will reset to zero and you begin earning ATOMS again, so don’t panic when your points go to zero

• You need to have used Autology in your research at least three times a week

• If you just open loads of links and don’t use them to try and raise the ATOM count it will deduct ATOMs

• If you are using links to do your research and they match what you are searching for, it will increase your ATOMS

• On the last day of each month we will look at who has the most points across Autology schools and they will be awarded the prizes, so don’t worry Autology has a record of the prize winners

• Your teachers will receive a monthly newsletter informing who the ATOM winners are across all Autology schools.

• If you are a winner you will receive your prize and certificate around the middle (within two weeks) of the next month that follows when you have won.
